The Science of Shaolin Recovery
Bridging 40 years of Shaolin clinical heritage with cutting-edge cellular research and laboratory validation.
From Tradition to Laboratory
The study of medicine and martial arts was deeply linked in ancient China. Our founder's ancestor, Yap Feng Qi, trained at the Shaolin Temple in the early 20th century, mastering secret formulations for the treatment of external injuries.
This lineage of healing was brought to Malaysia by Yap Shu Shen, a kung-fu grandmaster who treated patients for over 50 years before his son, Yap Chan Kor, established our first clinic in 1979.
Today, we blend this generational knowledge with modern physiotherapy to deliver results that are both faster and more cost-effective than conventional treatments alone.

The Monash University Study
Cellular Evaluation of Anti-Inflammatory Efficacy
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the anti-inflammatory characteristics of YAPCHANKOR proprietary herbal extracts using Human Embryonic Kidney (HEK293) cells.

Visual evidence of suppressed inflammatory markers (IL-6, TNF-α) following application of the proprietary herbal extract.
Methodology
Cells were treated with the herbal formulation and inflammation was induced using Lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Four key inflammatory markers — P-P38MAPK, IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α — were studied to measure the immune response.
Non-Toxic & Safe
The study confirmed over 90% cell viability, proving the formulation is completely non-toxic at therapeutic concentrations.
Rapid Real-Time Action
Significant anti-inflammatory action was observed as early as 2 hours and sustained for over 24 hours.
How It Works
Multi-Targeted Transdermal Recovery
Absorption
The proprietary extraction method ensures that active herbal compounds are readily absorbed through the skin.
Cellular Targeting
The formulation targets specific inflammatory pathways to reduce swelling and pain at the source.
Tissue Regeneration
By managing inflammation, the herbal patches create an optimal environment for natural tissue repair.
"This validation confirms what we have seen in our clinics for decades: YAPCHANKOR herbal patches are a powerful, non-invasive solution for musculoskeletal recovery."
Start with a Proper Assessment
Persistent or recurring pain often needs structured treatment rather than short-term relief.
